June 22nd, 2008 was the day when we first dealt cards as a social club. Unfortunately, this coincided with Christine's annual vacation, so no hoopla could be planned. However, we will be celebrating our anniversary next weekend (July 9th - 11th), so stay tuned!

Don't forget - every Tuesday we open at 2pm for a day game at Poker Nation. Most weeks, we get enough people to get started between 2pm-3pm, and usually not any later than 4pm. If your schedule allows, get your poker-playing behind down here and hang out!

PLEASE NOTE: We have made a few tweaks to the league structure based on feedback from our players! You may review them on the Monday Madness page,  but they are also summarized here:

• We're holding only $5 from each buy-in instead of all of it so that there's a cash payout
• Championship tournament will have a $100 buy-in plus $5 per player per week, plus money kicked in from the Player Promotion Fund (amount TBD)

Just to let you know, this week we will have one free food item for everyone to share. Today, I brought in a big box of Munchkins from Dunkin Donuts! :)

Other featured items were: Fruit tray, cracker/cheese/meat tray, pizza, and more donuts!
