I have put up a poll on the right-side of this page for you to vote on a change to our tournament structure. Normally I am not a fan of being inconsistent, but I'm also not a fan of small payouts! The suggestion is to allow a one-time $30 rebuy for the first hour of the tournament. This builds the prize pool and lets you keep hanging out with us if you make a tragic decision on the felt. There would be no fee attached to this rebuy.

Cast your vote on the right side and I'll make a final decision on the matter by Sunday night.

Update 5/22/10 - Poll is closed. It was a tight race but the "yes" votes have it, and we're going to give this a shot starting Sunday!

First off, congratulations to Sandi for taking 1st place in our first-ever, record-breaking WSOP Satellite Event! She won a $1500 seat of her choice, plus $300 towards her travel expenses! Daniel took 2nd place for $1000, plus $300 for his expenses! Marco took 3rd place for the remaining $365 in the prize pool.

Who will be the next to represent "The Nation" at the WSOP? It could be you! Come down next Sunday at 2pm when we do it all over again! We had 33 players, beating our conservative 25-player estimate. Next time, let's fill up every seat in the house and then some, and send 3 more people to Vegas!

Poker Nation will be hosting a WSOP satellite tournament on Sunday, May 16th to replace our usual 2pm rebuy tournament. The buy-in will be $105+15 and will be deepstack format (T$5000 chips). Complete details are available here!
